Miguel Peres

Miguel Peres is Head of Strategy & Growth at Imbono, where he leads the development of new business opportunities and strategic initiatives supporting the company’s expansion.

Miguel brings more than four decades of international experience in the development and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. During his career, he has held senior executive roles at leading engineering and construction firms, including Odebrecht and Mendes Júnior, overseeing complex projects and business operations across the Americas, Europe and Africa.

His experience spans multiple infrastructure sectors, including energy, transport, oil and gas, water and sanitation, and mining, while working in several countries, including Mexico, Canada, Mozambique, Liberia, Ghana, Cameroon and Portugal.

He also played a key role in leading Odebrecht Ambiental’s international expansion, helping to scale the company’s activities beyond its domestic market.

Miguel holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia.
