André Vital

André Vital is Chief Executive Officer for Southeast Central Africa at Imbono, where he oversees the development and execution of infrastructure projects across the region.

André brings more than 40 years of international experience in civil construction and infrastructure development. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership roles across major multinational engineering and construction companies, leading the delivery of large-scale projects across sectors including transport, highways, railways, sanitation and water infrastructure.

His experience spans the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure projects, with particular expertise in contractual management, project execution and operational leadership in emerging markets.

Prior to joining Gemcorp, André spent over two decades as part of the leadership team at Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção (OEC), most recently serving as Advisor to the Presidency of the Odebrecht Foundation.

André holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Pernambuco.
